The 2020 National Baseball Hall of Fame ballot has been released, and "The Captain" has made it.

Derek Jeter highlights the multiple Yankees that are up for election, and it is safe to say he should be a first-ballot inductee. The real question is whether or not he'll join Mariano Rivera as a unanimous selection, after the legendary closer became the first member to be inducted with 100 percent of the vote.

Playing all 20 seasons in pinstripes, Jeter was a 14-time All-Star that had a career .310/.377/.440 slashline with 3,465 hits -- the most in Yankee history. He collected the Rookie of the Year award in 1996 and his stardom only rose since then. Jeter also has the hardware with five World Series rings, while being named the World Series MVP in the 2000 Subway Series.

With his leadership on and off the field along with his knack for the clutch moment, he was named the 11th captain in team history in 2003.

Other than Jeter, Alfonso Soriano and Jason Giambi see their first time on the ballot. Soriano spent seven seasons with the Yankees, including his first five in MLB. He totaled two of his seven All-Star nods during that stretch, while owning a career .270/.319/.500 slashline.

Giambi began his career in Oakland with the A's, but some of his best years in his 20-year career came with the Yanks. He was a two-time All-Star during his seven years in the Bronx, with a .260 average and 209 of his 440 homers in his career. He was also the 2000 MVP winner in the AL after hitting .333 with 43 homers and 137 homers.

Rounding out the former Yankees on the ballot is Gary SheffieldBobby Abreu, and Raul Ibanez.
