With the above players factored in, the Yankees are expected to have 59 players in big league camp.
Among the notable non-roster invites are prospects Clarke Schmidt and Alexander Vizcaino, who are both ranked among the Yankees' top 10 prospects.
Schmidt could be a pitcher to keep an eye on this season, with him viewed by MLB Pipeline as the Yankees' breakout prospect candidate for 2020.
It's likely that Schmidt will open the 2020 season back in Double-A, but with his relatively advanced repertoire and a chance to have four plus pitches, it wouldn't be surprising to see him quickly become a big league rotation option.
Along with Schmidt and Vizcaino, the Yankees will have four other top 10 prospects in camp who are already on the 40-man roster: Right-handed pitchers Deivi García (No. 3), Luis Gil (No. 4), Luis Medina (No. 7) and Albert Abreu (No. 10).
As far as the rest of the non-roster invites go, they're all on the outside looking in when it comes to potentially making the Opening Day 26-man roster.
