There's a distinct difference when a ball strikes the bat of Yankees OF Giancarlo Stanton compared to others in the MLB. The crack off the wood is sharper and normally results in "ohhs" and "ahhs" from the crowd.

And the numbers back it up.

Exit velocity has become the wonder stat for sabermetric buffs and average baseball fans alike, and Stanton owns that category. The reigning NL MVP has four of the top six highest exit velocities calculated this season as well as eight of the top 20.

So, in light of Stanton becoming one of five finalists for the Final Vote ballot to make the AL All-Star team, here are some of his hardest hits this season that will hopefully find their way to Washington D.C.
