For Yankees manager Aaron Boone it was too much Drew Rasmussen in Game 1 of the ALDS. Rasmussen took a no-hitter into the eighth inning before Austin Wells spoiled the bid with a double but in what Boone called a "bad decision," Wells was thrown out trying to stretch the hit to a triple. Boone felt Yanks starter Gerrit Cole and the bullpen did an excellent job, allowing just one run but not good enough to beat Rasmussen.
