The interleague battle for the best record in the MLB continues Saturday as the Yankees (84-46, 8.0 GA in AL East) resume action against the Los Angeles Dodgers (85-45, 20.5 GA in NL West) at Dodger Stadium at 4:05 p.m.

Gary Sanchez gets the day off after he became the fastest catcher to 100 home runs with his third-inning solo shot in Friday's 10-2 win, but the Yankees return to the field with power surging through the lineup. RF Aaron Judge and 2B Gleyber Torres each homered, while SS Didi Gregorious one-upped his teammates when he belted two long balls -- including a fifth-inning grand slam -- that catapulted the Yankees past the Dodgers for the series-opening victory. In Sanchez's place, reliable backup Austin Romine becomes the Yankees' backstop. On the season, Romine has appeared in 54 games and slashed .266/.289/.410 with six home runs and 28 RBI.

Who is starting for the Yankees?

LHP CC Sabathia (5-7, 5.01 ERA) looks to rebound from his outing in last Saturday's 8-4 home loss against the Cleveland Indians. The 38-year-old veteran's first start back from right knee inflammation that had kept him on the injured list since July 28 ended abruptly in 3.0 innings after allowing four hits -- including a three-run home run in the second inning -- with three walks to five strikeouts. Sabathia remains in search his first win since June 24 when he went 6.0 innings with two runs on six hits and a season-high nine strikeouts to two walks in the Yankees' 10-8 home win over the Toronto Blue Jays. In five starts since then, Sabathia is 0-3 with two no decisions. All three of those losses have come in the past three outings, where Sabathia has not made it out of the fifth inning.

Who is starting for the Dodgers?

RHP Tony Gonsolin (1-1, 3.00 ERA) makes just his third start and fourth appearance overall on the season after he went 4.0 innings, yielding one run on five hits with two strikeouts, in last Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Braves. Prior to Atlanta, the 25-year-old rookie -- who debuted with six runs (four earned) on six hits (one home run) and thrree strikeouts June 26 in the Dodgers' 8-2 loss to the Diamondbacks in Arizona -- contributed to a pair of wins. The first came July 30 in Colorado when he went 4.0 innings of relief with one run on three hits and three strikeouts to earn his first career save. Gonsolin's next time out occurred Aug. 5 and resulted in his first career win, pitching a shutout with two hits and seven strikeouts to one walk in 6.0 innings.
