The Yankees (46-21) resume their suspended game against the Nationals (37-31) from May 15 on Monday at 5:05 p.m.

Play was suspended after the top of the sixth inning with the game tied 3-3 in Washington. The Nationals got on the board first after Anthony Rendon hit a solo homer to left field in the bottom of the first off Masahiro Tanaka

The Nationals would add two more in the second after an Andrew Stevenson RBI single followed by an RBI double from Pedro Severino.

But the Yankees started coming back in the top of the fourth, thanks to a two-run blast from Tyler Austin.

He would add a sacrifice fly in the fifth to tie the game up at three. Unfortunately, though, Austin was sent down recently, which means his roster spot is allowed to be filled. Neil Walker will take his place on Monday night.

After the completion of this game, the Yankees will wait a half hour before beginning their regularly schedule game against the Nats. Sonny Gray will go against Erick Fedde in that one.
