The Jets missed out on top tackle Jack Conklin, who signed a three-year, $42 million deal with the Browns, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

At one point in time, Conklin was reportedly set to sign with the Jets before free agency kicked off. However, that notion was immediately walked back with the Jets still among those interested in landing the Titans' former first-rounder that has primarily played right tackle since his inception in the league.

Conklin's market was expected to be around $15 million, so this deal falls in line with that at $14 million per season. He's set to make $20 million of that in his first season with Cleveland.

So where do the Jets go from here? The Colts brought back tackle Anthony Castonzo, another top choice, on Sunday. Also, the Lions landed Halapoulivaati Vaitai at $50 million over the next five years, per NFL Network's Mike Garofalo. GM Joe Douglas might have to focus on the interior of the line now in free agency, with the better option for tackles in the NFL Draft.

Guard Graham Glasgow was reportedly on the Jets' radar after Joe Thuney was surprisingly tagged by the Patriots. But now the Broncos have scooped him up at $11 million per season over the next four years, according to SchefterSNY's Ralph Vacchiano had multiple teams looking at Glasgow, and believed he could command a contract worth $15 million per season.

Now Douglas will have to pivot there as well, with Greg Van Roten and Austin Peat to choose from at guard.

In the NFL Draft, top prospects like Tristan Wirfs, Jedrick Wills, Andrew Thomas and Mekhi Becton are all tackles the Jets could target with that No. 11 overall pick. And at this point, they may not have a choice if Douglas truly wants to overhaul his line like he has been alluding to all offseason.
