Rutgers improved to 14-4 on Sunday after beating Minnesota 64-56, and could now become ranked for the first time since 1979.
Head coach Steve Pikiell has the Scarlet Knights tied for second place in the Big Ten, and talked about how the team gave an all around effort in their win on Sunday.
"A great team win... this team sacrifices, they play together, they play the right way," Pikiell said. "They were rewarded today against a good Minnesota team... when you're playing good teams, you better be doing some things well."
