Jets WR Robby Anderson said earlier in the week that he considers himself a top-five NFL wide receiver. And when such a statement is made, that person needs to back it up.
Anderson did just that Sunday in the Jets' 22-21 win over the Dolphins, where he hauled in seven catches for 116 yards and a touchdown.
The 6-foot-3, 190-pounder built off last Sunday's seven receptions for 101 yards. He eclipsed the century mark for the third time all season.
"We hot right now," Anderson told SNY's Jeane Coakley after the game. "I feel like I'm in the zone, I feel like he's in the zone. We've just got to keep it going.
"Just keep it going. Stay focused and take it one day at a time, one play at a time. Stay fundamentally sound, you know? Can't get too ahead of ourselves. Keep grinding and make it happen."
