Ball four. Ball eight.
That's how the Mets tied up Monday's game against the Cincinnati Reds in the fourth inning.
Pete Alonso and Brandon Nimmo drew back-to-back bases-loaded four-pitch walks to turn a two-run deficit into a 4-4 game.
First came Alonso, who "knocked" Reds starting pitcher Tanner Roark out of the game.
The Reds made a pitching change, bringing in Wandy Peralta. And he walked Nimmo on four pitches, too.

Unfortunately for the Mets, there was no ball nine. Michael Conforto grounded out on a 2-2 count the next at-bat.
