The Rangers are out on a west coast swing and wasted no time Saturday getting on the board early.
After winning the opening faceoff, the Rangers dumped the puck in before Mika Zibanejad intercepted the Ducks' attempted breakout pass. He found himself in all alone with John Gibson, made a move to his backhand and went top shelf to give the Rangers a 1-0 lead just 10 seconds into the contest.

Artemi Panarin, who had a hat trick in Thursday's win over the Sharks, scored in his fourth straight game to make it a 2-0 Rangers lead less than four minutes into the game.
