Mets 1B Pete Alonso came into Wednesday's game tied with Cody Bellinger of the Dodgers and Mike Trout of the Angels for the league-lead in home runs with 44.
Alonso then changed that, crushing a moonshot at Nationals Park to take over the league lead.
