The Phillies and Mets had some tension heading into the final game of their series at Citi Field on Wednesday night.
On Tuesday with Rhys Hoskins at the plate in the top of the ninth, Jacob Rhame threw too fastball -- one behind Hoskins and the other around his head -- that saw both benches begin to clear. Some believed Rhame could have been sending a message after two Mets were hit by pitches in Monday's opener.
Well, Hoskins got his revenge tonight, hitting a homer to left field off Rhame. And he milked it.
