For the past month, Knicks F Mario Hezonja hasn't seen the hardwood much as head coach David Fizdale moved him out of the rotation. But that was until the team's surprising win over the Lakers on Jan. 4. 

Hezonja played just 14 minutes in that contest, but he was more than ready to make an impact. He scored 10 points on 3-of-4 shooting and 3-of-6 from the charity stripe. He also had two assists. 

And since that game, Hezonja has received more time from Fizdale -- 31 minutes against Portland on Monday and 25 minutes against the Warriors on Tuesday. 

At practice Thurdsay ahead of the Knicks' matchup with the Pacers Friday night, Hezonja discussed how working alongside his assistant coaches and taking a step back while serving his time on the bench helped him regain his composure...
