The Jets dropped to 1-6 overall with Week 8's 29-15 loss to the Jaguars at TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville, but New York got solid production from tight end Ryan Griffin.

The veteran continued his recent surge Sunday, catching four passes for a team-high 66 yards and the offense's only two touchdowns -- a 24-yard grab that gave the Jets the lead with 4:51 left in the first quarter and a three-yard snag at the 13:07 mark of the fourth quarter -- to provide a jolt and keep the game within reach until the Jaguars ultimately pulled away late.

Griffin, who now has nine receptions for 112 yards (12.4 average) and three touchdowns in seven games, recapped his improvements after the game when he went 1 on 1 with SNY's Jeane Coakley.
