Here's your latest reminder that Giants RB Saquon Barkley is a physical freak.
Barkley might not be able to use the Giants' facility with the NFL pushing back offseason workout programs due to coronavirus concerns, but that hasn't stopped him from putting in work in the weight room. Posting to his Instagram story on Wednesday, Barkley can be seen squatting with a ton of plates on the bar.
And, of course, it looks effortless.
In case you forgot, @saquon isn't human.

That much weight shouldn't just bend the bar, but it should bend a normal human being's back, too. But this isn't new from Barkley, who is gearing up for season three in the NFL. Last season, he saw his first games missed in a Giants uniform. A nasty high ankle sprain forced him to miss Weeks 4-to-6, but he actually recovered in a time that baffled fans and experts alike.
Still, many believed he was playing hurt throughout the season, a notion that irked him quite a bit. The Penn State product still managed to total 1,003 yards on 217 carries -- that's 4.6 yards per carry -- with eight total touchdowns. It may not have been his NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year campaign that saw over 2,000 yards from scrimmage in 2018, but Barkley continued to prove how lethal he can be with the ball in his hands.
It's hard to work in the offseason at this point in time, with social distancing being the norm as the country tries to fight the spread of coronavirus. But Barkley is still finding a way, and he's continuing to awe fans as usual.
