The Huskies dominated the ECU Pirates 98-42 on Saturday afternoon.
Christyn Williams scored 26 points, while freshman Anna Makurat added 24 points of her own.
After the game, UConn head coach Geno Auriemma explained that he was very pleased with the way his team played in the lopsided win.
"I thought there for long stretches we did a great job of moving the ball," Auriemma said. "We didn't waste a lot of dribbles and we didn't hesitate. I think sometimes our team gets a little bit tentative. After that first quarter, I thought we got into a really good rhythm and everybody that touched it did something good with it, so I was really happy with the way we played today."
