In a battle of two top-10 teams, UConn and Baylor went back and forth for most of the night on Thursday, but the Lady Bears eventually pulled away in the fourth quarter, handing UConn their first home loss since March 2013.

Following the 74-58 loss, UConn head coach Geno Auriemma explained that the first four minutes of the final quarter really made the difference in the game.

"I was telling them that I thought for about 30 minutes, I thought we battled pretty good," Auriemma said. "Our offense was good, we were getting good shots, we weren't making a bunch of them, but we were putting enough pressure on them.

"And then in that fourth quarter, those first five minutes we got a bunch of stops, we got a bunch of stops, we got a bunch of stops, but then we came down and we didn't get anything to go. We couldn't get a shot to drop. I think those five minutes kind of demoralized our team."
