When you complete a sweep of NCAA women's basketball awards your freshman season, you get named an AP Preseason All-American the next year.

UConn star G Paige Bueckers was unanimously named to the team on Tuesday by the Associated Press following an unprecedented freshman year in which she won the AP Player of the Year -- the first ever freshman to be awarded that honor -- as well as the Wooden Award and Naismith Trophy.

Bueckers established herself as a force for the Huskies, and in doing so, quickly moves into a leadership role. And she's certainly looking to complete the ultimate team goal of winning a national title, which UConn fell short of in a Final Four loss to Arizona this past March.

Playing in 29 games last year, Bueckers averaged 20 points, 4.9 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game while shooting 52.4 percent from the field and 46.4 percent from three-point land.
