The Knicks suffered another blowout loss on their home court Wednesday night, as the Grizzlies handled them easily, 127-106. The loss itself, though, wasn't the only embarrassing thing that happened for New York.
A scuffle broke out in the fourth quarter, fans were chanting once again for owner James Dolan to sell the team, and the visiting locker room's showers weren't working properly. And that wasn't everything in what felt like the lowest point of this awful season thus far.
So, as you'd expect, reactions to these events on Twitter were...well....just see them for yourself:
The Knicks are worth $4 billion

Shutting off your opponents hot water after they two piece you and cause your own fans to chant "sell the team" ... priceless https://t.co/cBD2vMrnNq
So to sum up tonight in MSG: Knicks lose by 21, their starting PG tackles an opposing shooter, fans loudly chant 'Sell the team' and postgame their best player uses 'woman-like' as an insult. (I think that covers it)

A loud "Sell the team" chant rises up at MSG with Knicks down 18 and a fracas on the court just broken up. MSG starts piping in loud music to break it up. Things are not going well in New York tonight. pic.twitter.com/X9zM0VQ3Vg

My son felt compelled to awaken me a few hours ago after getting back from his first Knicks game: "Dad, five people were ejected for fighting and they were chanting 'sell the team.' " ... glad he had fun.

Deplorable stuff to cap a night at MSG where the Knicks found all the wrong reasons to enter the national discourse … https://t.co/guQvnjGmD7

The Knicks are just a new owner, new front office, and new roster away from becoming a respectable franchise.

Never forget: "This is a team New Yorkers are going to like," Steve Mills said of the Knicks before the season.
