The Mets-Phillies rivalry has trickled down to Triple-A.

A stunt pulled by the Phillies' Triple-A affiliate Lehigh Valley caused the Syracuse Mets to become "infuriated," according to a report by Syracuse.com.

When Jacob Rhame entered to warm up for the sixth inning Monday, a video played in Lehigh Valley's stadium of Rhys Hoskins' 34-second home run trot from last week after he homered off Rhame. The night before, Rhame threw a pitch that went by Hoskins' head, so Hoskins took his sweet time when he got his revenge the next night.

Rhame ended up getting suspended two games because MLB deemed that Rhame intentionally threw at Hoskins' head. He was then optioned to Triple-A on Friday when the Mets activated Jacob deGrom from the injured list.

According to the Syracuse.com report, Syracuse Mets manager Tony DeFrancesco gave IronPigs president and GM Kurt Landes "an earful" after the game, and hitting coach Joel Chimelis said someone needed to be held accountable. Landes said he didn't know the replay would be shown and apologized.

The Syracuse Mets, in their first season as the Mets' Triple-A affiliate, came from behind after the video was shown to win the game.

"They didn't respect (us), not only the pitcher, they don't respect us as a team," Carlos Gomez said after the game, per Syracuse.com. "They should not have played that video. We're all professionals here."
