The Giants will be without tight ends Rhett Ellison and Scott Simonson for their Week 17 matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, the team announced.
Ellison has been out since Week 10 as he recovers from a concussion, while Simonson is also recovering from a concussion that he suffered during practice this week.
Rookie tight end Kaden Smith will get the start, as he is coming off a strong performance against the Washington Redskins. Smith had six receptions for 35 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-winning score in overtime.
OT Mike Remmers is also listed as out for Sunday's game after suffering a concussion against the Redskins.
Cornerbacks Corey Ballentine (back) and Sam Beal (shoulder) are questionable, while LB Alec Ogletree is also questionable after leaving last week's game with a back injury.
As for the Eagles, star tight end Zach Ertz is officially out after suffering a fractured rib in Week 16. Running back Jordan Howard will make his return against the Giants after missing the last five games with a neck/shoulder injury.
