As SNY's Ralph Vacchiano pointed out earlier on Sunday, the Jets will be looking to be extremely active at the NFL trade deadline that approaches closer by the day. And one of the players he says to watch is DL Leonard Williams.

Well, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the interest in Williams is already there around the league.

Schefter is hearing that multiple teams are looking at Williams, the former first-rounder by the Jets back in 2015. And what could they potentially get for him?

"Maybe a third-round pick," one league source told Vacchiano, though others have speculated the price could be higher. "His age makes him worth it," the source said. "His production makes him a hard sell."

Williams' production is a main reason why the Jets may explore a trade, though they haven't put him on the trade block yet. Coming out of USC, Williams was expected to be a very productive pass rusher in the sacks department, but that hasn't been the case. Over four full seasons, he has just 17 sacks in 64 games. And this season, Williams hasn't collected a sack in four games.

The Jets still like what they see when they check out the film. There are obviously other aspects to Williams' position, but sacks and defensive ends always go hand-in-hand and they're normally judged by that stat.

There is still some time for the Jets decide what they want to do at the deadline, but keep a lookout for Williams with his name alrady being thrown out there.
