It is popular for a couple expecting a baby to have a photo shoot before the birth, but Luis Severino and his wife, Rosmaly, took things to the next level.
The couple teamed up with famous New York City photographer Jose Guerra, and he's been wanting to do something for a while now: an underwater photo shoot. The Severinos said why not.
And the results? Beautiful. Check them out:
Those are just a few that were posted to Guerra's Instagram, but Severino posted one himself too.
The Severinos are expecting a girl, as revealed not by a pitch from Sevy but rather a swing of the bat as his wife threw him a ball with pink powder that sprayed once he made contact.
Severino is also recovering from Tommy John surgery, which he said he's been working on down in Tampa since he's gotten surgery.
"I do arm, bike, dumbbell exercises, and I just follow the routine that (the trainers) plan out for me," he told the New York Post. "I spend an hour and half with them in the trainer's room before I move into the gym, every day, five days a week.
"Things have been progressing well."
Soon he'll need to be focusing on something very important off the field, too.
