The Rockets completed a massive four-team trade this week, which included the Timberwolves, Nuggets and Hawks.

The Nets were invited to be involved in those festivities, but opted not to join.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Rockets tried to acquire Nets center DeAndre Jordan. Per the report, the Nets turned down the offer made to them.

"The Rockets tried to engage the Nets on DeAndre Jordan, their center. When they were working on their four-team, 12 player deal," Wojnarowski reported.

The report indicates that the Nets were not interested in moving Jordan and were not shopping him.

The former All-Star is making $9.9 million this season and is signed for three more seasons. Jordan is mostly coming off the bench and is averaging 7.9 points and 9.6 rebounds per game.
