Robby Anderson is happy to still be with the Jets.

The fourth-year wide receiver's name was reported as one of other NFL team's interest, but Tuesday's 4 p.m. ET trade deadline came and went with Anderson in New York.

When he met with reporters Wednesday after practice, Anderson expressed his relief to remain a part of Gang Green and get after the rest of the season as the Jets (1-6) look to turn 2019 around.

"It felt good," Anderson said. "I didn't really know how to feel, but I know that I wasn't really 100-percent sure, but pretty sure that I still would be here. But I'm very thankful and I feel good to be here, you know?"

Through seven games, Anderson has been a bright spot for the Jets' struggling offense, catching 21 passes for 309 yards (14.71 per reception) and a 92-yard touchdown.

One of the league's top deep threats, Anderson reportedly initiated interest from other receiver-needy teams looking to bolster their offense as they enter the second half, but the Jets held on to the receiver.

Anderson said that he spoke with general manager Joe Douglas and head coach Adam Gase ahead of Wednesday's practice and came away on the same page as his fourth season in New York continues.

"It means the world to me because it's like I still have the opportunity to fulfill my commitment, you know what I'm saying?" Anderson said. "And if I wanted that to happen, I could've easily expressed that and made them clear that that's what I want. That's not what I want. You know that I'm giving my all to the end, you know? And that I'm not going to give up on my mission, my goal. I'm just thankful to still be here and give that to the organization, to the fans, to everybody, you know?"

Scooped up by the Jets as an undrafted free agent May 5, 2016, Anderson has proven to be a diamond in the rough over the past three-plus years.

Anderson earned his keep with the Jets from 2016-18, catching 155 passes for 2,280 yards (14.7 per reception) and 15 touchdowns as he logged 46 games (32 starts).

With his future certain in 2019 -- he becomes an unrestricted free agent once the 2020 offseason hits -- Anderson looks forward to helping the Jets get back on track for Sunday's 1 p.m. ET road game against the winless Miami Dolphins (0-7).

"I think that we need to just stick to the basics and create that rhythm," Anderson said. "You know, I think you look at (Oct. 13's 24-22 home win over the) Dallas (Cowboys), we jumped out with a rhythm and just (need to) create consistency. I think we have to get tired of the same results all around, you know? But I think it's going to take the offense takes everybody. ... It takes all of us to be on the same page together. And I think once we get to that consistent basis, that we'll see, we'll do what we can do."
