The Rangers have traded forward Vladislav Namestnikov to the Senators Monday night, in exchange for AHL defenseman Nick Ebert and a fourth-round pick in the 2021 draft, as it was announced by his agent, Dan Milstein, on Twitter.

Namestnikov played in 99 games during his time in New York, scoring 13 goals and 35 points in that time.

The Russian former first-round draft pick was traded to the Rangers in 2018, as a part of the swap with the Lighting that sent Ryan McDonagh and J.T. Miller to Tampa Bay.

Namestnikov was pointless for the Rangers through two games to start the 2019 season.

The Rangers will keep $750,000 in salary as a part of the deal.
