It’s no secret that the Giants will search for a quarterback in this year’s draft.

Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders and Miami’s Cam Ward are the consensus top two options on the board, but it remains to be seen if one or even either of them will be on the board when Big Blue’s turn comes around.

Both the Tennessee Titans and Cleveland Browns could also be in the market for a new franchise quarterback, and there is also the possibility other QB-needy teams could look to trade up.

If that ends up being the case, Big Blue will have to pivot elsewhere.

One of the most intriguing targets in this scenario would be Ole Miss’ Jaxson Dart, whose draft stock just continues to rise with the strong showing he’s been putting together at the Senior Bowl.

Dart struggled the first couple of days in practice, but he was able to settle into a nice groove after that, showcasing his big-time arm strength and the fact that he can take snaps from under center.

Still, the 21-year-old is projected to fly off the board as a late-first or early-second round pick, so the Giants would likely have to get a little creative if they were to fall in love with his skillset and potential.

New York could remain at pick No. 34 with hopes of Dart falling into their laps, or they could look to trade up a few picks into the backend of the opening round to ensure no one else scoops him up.

While being the franchise quarterback in the Big Apple certainly comes with some lofty expectations, the youngster certainly sounds up for the challenge — if it were to become a reality.

“I’m not scared of the big city, not at all,” he told reporters at the Senior Bowl. “I love New York, I visited there a lot growing up. Honestly, that’s not even in the back of my mind. I think it’s a great organization. I’d love to play for them.”

Though some parts of his game still need further developing, Dart put his upside and potential on display last season, completing 69.3 percent of his passes for 4,279 yards and 29 touchdowns while leading the high-flying Rebels offense.

He also has a connection to the Manning family, being that he’s attended the Manning Passing Academy, and both Archie and Eli still have a strong relationship with their alma mater.
