Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. gave Jets defensive coordinator Gregg Williams a piece of his mind on the field and taste of his own medicine off of it on Monday night.

Williams, when asked a question about Beckham this week, started his reply with, "Odell who?"

Beckham downplayed a lot during his press conference following his team's 23-3 win against the Jets. One thing he couldn't help himself with was his thoughts on Williams.

When asked what his feelings were about Williams' comments, Beckham tossed it right back at him.

"Who? Who's that?" Beckham said.

Earlier in the week, Williams indicated that Beckham was not a dynamic player. Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield was asked about those comments after the game.

"He said that?" Mayfield said. "Jesus. Next question. Not a dynamic football player? OK."

Beckham, who had six catches for 161 yards including an 89-yard touchdown catch, did continue his response with compliments. The message was already sent, though.

"Nah, I mean, everyone has a right to their own opinion," Beckham said. "He's a phenomenal coach, he's got a great defense, but I'm done talking about it, though. We won, so I'm just trying to make plays to win."

While Williams' comments seemed to fuel Beckham's game, that wasn't the case in regard to returning to his former home. While not an ex-Jet, Beckham's home was MetLife Stadium with the Giants. That storyline was downplayed by Beckham following the game.

"I mean, I think, at times, I don't realize how hard it is to score a touchdown in the National Football League, period," Beckham said. "It hit me awhile ago that it really is very difficult to get into the end zone, so just any time I can get in there, regardless if it's coming back to MetLife. It's a lot of hard work to get in there, it takes all of us to get in there."
