Here's the latest buzz on the Nets ahead of the NBA trade deadline..

The Nets continue to wheel and deal ahead of Thursday afternoon’s deadline.
Shams Charania of The Athletic reports that the Nets are sending Jae Crowder to the Milwaukee Bucks in exchange for five second-round draft picks.
Crowder was acquired by the Nets early on Thursday morning in the blockbuster deal that sent Kevin Durant to Phoenix.
Feb. 7, 3:48 p.m.
The Nets are closing in on a deal that will send forward Kessler Edwards to the Sacramento Kings, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.
According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Nets are sending Edwards and cash to the Kings in a move that will open a roster space for Brooklyn and save them $8 million.
Edwards, 22, was a second-round pick by the Nets in the 2021 draft. After starting 23 games as a rookie, Edwards has appeared in just 14 games this season, averaging just 1.1 points and 1.0 rebound per game.

The Nets and star forward Kevin Durant are having “ongoing conversations” about the direction of the franchise, but Brooklyn has told interested teams that they’re “not planning to trade” Durant ahead of Thursday’s deadline, per ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report and TNT reported earlier this week that the Phoenix Suns are prepared to pursue Durant, should he be made available, but ESPN reports the Nets haven't been willing to move Durant to Phoenix, or anywhere else.
Durant hasn’t played since Jan. 8 against the Miami Heat due to an MCL sprain.

Members of the Nets spent Monday talking to the Toronto Raptors about potential trades, reports SNY's Ian Begley.
Per Begley, the Nets and Raptors discussed the possibility of a Fred VanVleet trade before the Kyrie Irving deal to the Dallas Mavericks became official.
Before dealing Irving, the Nets spoke to the Atlanta Hawks about a possible John Collins deal.
Meanwhile, multiple teams have spoken to the Nets about Joe Harris, with Brooklyn also taking calls on Patty Mills.

The Los Angeles Clippers have entered the Kyrie Irving sweepstakes, reportedly joining the Los Angeles Lakers, Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Kyrie Irving reportedly requested a trade from the Nets after negotiations broke down.
According to TNT's Chris Haynes, Irving's camp did not negotiate a potential contract extension with the Nets after the team presented him with an offer that was tied to winning the championship this season.
It's said that even if the Nets offered a full max contract, Irving won't take it, per Haynes.

Another team has emerged as a potential suitor for Kyrie Irving.
According to The Athletic's Shams Charania, the Phoenix Suns join the Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks as the interested parties in trading for the All-Star guard.
