The Nets couldn't mount a comeback in this First Round series, as the 76ers blew them out off in Philadelphia, 122-100, in Game 5 on Tuesday night. >> Box score

Seven things to know about Tuesday's game...

1) Joel Embiid was once again the Sixers' leading scorer and he only saw 20 minutes of work in the game. He had 23 points and 13 rebounds for a double-double, and collected two assists and one steal as well. He was 9-for-18 shooting as he continued to stay efficient.

2) The Nets needed D'Angelo Russell to anchor the offense if they wanted to make this a good game on the road. That wasn't the case, as Russell shot a poor 3-of-16 from the field for eight points. He had two boards and three assists over 27 minutes as well.

3) Caris LeVert led the Nets with 18 points on 6-of-12 shooting. He had four assists and three rebounds in what was a great series for him in his first playoff experience.

4) Other than LeVert, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Rodions Kurucs finished with 14 points apiece.

5) Four other Sixers finished in double digits, with Ben Simmons (13 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists) and Tobias Harris (12 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists) among them.

6) Toward the end of the game, Kurucs was thrown out after getting tangled up with Jonah Bolden under the rim in the fourth quarter. He wasn't the only one, as Greg Monroe and Dzanan Musa were also thrown out for their involvement in the incident.

7) It may not have been the result the Nets had hoped for, but this entire season was a major success for Brooklyn. They were not supposed to be in this position in the first place, but they turned some heads and made a statement on their way to a playoff berth. This offseason comes as a sad note for now, but the Nets have the opportunity to make their team better in the coming months.
