Things to know about Monday's game
1) Kawhi Leonard hit a game-winning bank shot for Toronto with 4.2 seconds left roughly 30 seconds after Danny Green hit a 3-pointer to tie the game at 125-125. Leonard finished with 30 points and eight assists.
2) D'Angelo Russell hit a 3-pointer to give the Nets a 125-122 lead with 50.2 seconds left, but on the final shot of the game he missed a contested 3-pointer off an inbounds pass with not much room. Russell flirted with a triple-double, putting up 28 points, a career-high 14 assists and seven rebounds. He became the first Net with at least 28 points, 14 assists and seven rebounds in a game Robert Pack did it on Jan. 13, 1997 against Orlando.
3) Joe Harris had a huge first half, putting up 22 points while going 7-for-8 from 3-point range. The seven 3-pointers made were a career-high, and his 22 points were the most he ever scored in one half. However, he did not attempt another field goal until there were about 22 seconds remaining, missing a mid-range jumper before Leonard's game-winning shot. Harris finished with 24 points after making two free throws with 1:13 left to give the Nets a two-point lead.
4) The Nets made 20 3-pointers, marking the sixth time in team history they made at least 20 3-point shots. In his third game after a two-month absence because of a knee injury, Allen Crabbe had 22 points in 31 minutes, sinking six of 10 3-point attempts. Crabbe drained a 3-pointer to tie the game at 120-120 with 1:34 remaining. He's the first player in team history to make at least five 3-pointers in consecutive games off the bench.
5) Caris LeVert had just six points on 3-for-11 shooting in his second game back from a foot injury. He had four assists but was 0-for-5 from deep and had five turnovers in 23 minutes.
