The Nets had a big comeback in the fourth quarter against the Raptors in Toronto on Saturday, but it fell one point short, 119-118.

Entering the fourth quarter with 100 points on the board, the Raptors only mustered 19 points in the final frame, as DeAndre Jordan had a strong game defensively. Jordan had 14 total rebounds, including 11 in the Nets' end.

The Raptors led by as much as 18 in the third quarter.

On the offensive end, Caris LeVert put up a career-high 37 points and he was 6-for-7 from three-point range. Of his 37, 15 of them were in the fourth quarter. He's scored 20-plus points in three-straight games as well and in that stretch, LeVert is 11-for-16 from three.

Still, the Raptors won their franchise record 14th game in a row. LaVert missed a long jumper in the final seconds and on the offensive glass, Joe Harris missed the put-back basket off the rebound.

"We had a play with a couple of options, they did a good job of defending it," Nets head coach Kenny Atkinson said of the final shot attempt. "Credit to them, good defense."

Naturally, LeVert would've rather won the game than anything else.

"We're not really into moral victories or anything like that. I would have much rather had just played OK and got the win," LaVert told reporters following the game. "Like I said, I would much rather have the win, but it's always good to play well, especially on the road."

Kyrie Irving missed his third-straight game due to a knee injury. Spencer Dinwiddle only trailed LeVert with 21 points, while adding a team-high 11 assists. It was his seventh game of the season with 10-plus assists.
