Kyrie Irving's road to recovery appears to still be a bumpy one.

Sidelined with what had initially been termed a "right shoulder impingement," Irving could remain out of the lineup for another two to three weeks, according to a report cited in the New York Daily News. The original reporting comes from Heavy.com.

The report also indicates that the organization is now privately referring to Irving's injury as "thoracic bursitis."

Despite missing their prized acquisition for most of the season, the Nets continue to play well without Irving. Their record sits at 16-13, and they've gone 12-6 in Irving's absence.

Much of that success can be attributed to the emergence of Spencer Dinwiddie. He followed up his career-high, 41-point performance against the Spurs on Thursday with 39 points in a win over the Hawks on Saturday.

With Irving remaining on the shelf, it looks like Dinwiddie's increased role will continue for the time being.
