Zion Williamson was the prize of the NBA Draft, is one of the most buzzed about prospects in the history of the league, and is expected to make the Pelicans a must-watch. But among his peers -- including Knicks rookie RJ Barrett -- Zion is not seen as the player expected to have the best career.

In the annual poll of rookies -- conducted by NBA.com -- the 2019 Draft class (42 players) answered seven questions about the future.

When it comes to who will have the best career, the rookies selected Cam Reddish, who received 19 percent of the vote. Following Reddish were Ja Morant (16 percent) and De'Andre Hunter (11 percent), with Barrett, Williamson, Jaxson Hayes, and Coby White all tied at 5 percent.

As far as Barrett is concerned, he is seen as the third-most likely to win Rookie of the Year (at 5 percent, tied with Reddish). Williamson is the favorite (at 35 percent), while Morant is at 27 percent.

Since the annual rookie survey began, they have been hit and miss when it comes to predicting which player will have the best career. The top vote-getter in 2007 was Kevin Durant, but Jahlil Okafor was the top vote-getter in 2015.

While he has the chance to be a one-man wrecking crew, Williamson should also have some help with the Pelicans -- teaming up with Jrue Holiday, Lonzo Ball, and Brandon Ingram.

The Knicks added a bunch of lower-tier free agents who should help make the team a good deal better than they were during their 17-win season last year, but Barrett doesn't have a great supporting cast at the moment. That could change quickly, though, if Mitchell Robinson picks up where he left off during his rookie season and Kevin Knox continues to develop.
