Mitchell Robinson is re-signing with the Knicks on a four-year deal worth $60 million, his agents first told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Per SNY's Ian Begley, the Toronto Raptors had interest in Robinson, but the Knicks had been confident in the last few days that they would be able to re-sign him.

The signing of Robinson, who was an unrestricted free agent, comes after the Knicks landed point guard Jalen Brunson shortly after the start of free agency on Thursday night. Brunson was inked to a four-year deal worth $104 million.

In addition to signing Brunson, the Knicks also landed free agent center Isaiah Hartenstein on a two-year deal worth just north of $16 million. Hartenstein is expected to be the backup to Robinson.

Robinson was the 36th overall pick to New York in the 2018 NBA Draft, and has been widely regarded as one of the best rim-protectors in the NBA.

Aside from that, he’s been a bucket on the offensive side. He led the NBA in field goal percentage in his sophomore season (.742), and he set a career high this past season, shooting 76.1 percent from the floor.

Robinson has averaged 8.4 points, 7.5 boards, and 2.0 blocks per game throughout his four-year career. Last season, his 8.6 rebounds per game were a career best, as were his 72 games played and 62 starts.
