Following a trend they have gone through to fill out Joe Judge's first staff, the Giants reportedly dipped back into college football for their latest coaching addition.

Mike Treier accepted a job on Judge's staff, according to a Wednesday evening report by FootballScoop. Treier's Twitter profile seemingly confirmed the move, getting a Big Blue makeover with a Giants graphic as his header and a bio that simply reads, "NY (Football) Giants."

Tracing Treier's past few weeks, through announcements and reports, the coach's job-hunting activity seems him reach his third and final stop after initially leaving Marshall.

After spending the past three years from 2017-19 with the Thundering Herd -- the latest as the safeties coach and recruiting coordinator -- Treier left the program at the end of the season for Florida State, he announced Dec. 27 on his Twitter profile.

But the bolt for the Seminoles was short-lived. On Jan. 17, reports indicated that Treier was leaving FSU to become Colorado State's safeties coach. The move to join Judge and the Giants is Treier's final move, FootballScoop was told.

Treier's coaching experience includes a prior stint at UT-Martin as the co-defensive coordinator and secondary coach from 2015-16. He started his coaching journey as a graduate assistant at Marshall from 2014-15.
