The Knicks were blown out by Miami 129-114 on Friday night, but they don't have much time to feel sorry for themselves.

After a quick trip home, the Knicks are back at the Garden on Saturday night for a meeting with the NBA's best team, the Milwaukee Bucks. Led by reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Bucks have the best record in the NBA at 25-4.

Speaking before Saturday night's tipoff, Knicks interim coach Mike Miller confirmed that slowing down Antetokounmpo, who is averaging 31.8 points, 12.8 rebounds, and 5.4 assists, is priority number one.

"Well he's attacking so many different ways," Miller said. "We've come back and we've taken a look at this and put together a plan, and the first thing you look at are his numbers and what he's putting up. He's averaging 19 points per game in the paint by himself, which is unbelievable because every team is game-planning to keep him out of there, and he's still getting 19 a game.

"I think it starts with him, where we have to do a good job. For us, this game isn't as much about how do we defend these actions as it is the concepts of what they do well that centers around him. Obviously, everybody likes to see him pass as much as possible, but he's so good at getting downhill and getting in the paint. It's going to be a thing where we're going to have to have a lot of guys very attentive to what he's doing out there."

Not only do the Bucks lead the NBA on the offensive side, averaging 120.7 points per game, but they're also the number one defensive team in the league in terms of opponent field goal percentage, holding teams to just 41.7 percent shooting.

Miller believes ball movement will be key for the Knicks as they hope to crack the Bucks' stingy defense.

"Our emphasis is always to try to get the ball moving, and we talk about attacking more on the second and the third sides where we can be more effective to get into some longer close-outs and have a chance to move. I think that's part of it," Miller said. "They play really in deep drops in their pick-and-rolls, so they don't give up a lot at the rim, and so we're going to be in front of their bigs a lot when we get into some of the situations now tonight, and we're going to have to make good decisions with it and really move it from there."

Friday's blowout loss wasn't an easy one for the Knicks to swallow, but the Knicks had won three of four heading into that game, and Miller said he likes the direction the team is heading in.

"I like the approach. We're going out there and we're either going to win that thing or we're going to get better and keep learning and keep growing," Miller said. "I think we have that approach, and that's the approach we need to keep."
