Pete Alonso feels perfectly comfortable in the batter's box at Citi Field... but on MLB The Show? Not so much.
The Mets slugger, who broke the rookie home run record with 53 long balls last season, made his first plea for help early Saturday morning.
"How the heck do I stop check swinging in @MLBTheShow. It won't let me swing," Alonso asked on Twitter.
Didn't know I had to keep holding. Thank you guys

Both teammate Jeff McNeil ("Use the analog stick where it actually takes some timing and skill.....") and former Mets prospect Anthony Kay ("Gotta use Zone where u gotta move ur thing around and hit X that's where the real skill is at") were quick to jump in.
Eventually Alonso -- who shared on his Instagram Stories that his fiancee was initially better at the game than he was -- got the hang of it.
"Didn't know I had to keep holding. Thank you guys," he replied in a thread.
McNeil also suggested they get a game going, but admitted he wouldn't know how to stream it.
And maybe we can get a game but no idea how to stream it 🤷🤷gotta give the people what they want

"Gotta give the people what they want," he said.
Please, Jeff.
