After an extended slump, Francisco Lindor, according to Mets manager Carlos Mendoza is back to using "the whole field" and proof was his three-hit game in New York's 8-1 win over the Giants. Lindor and Brandon Nimmo got the team off to quick 2-0 lead in the first inning and they never looked back. They also expressed excitement at the acquisition of reliever Gregory Soto and know the trade deadline always brings a nervous excitement for the players.
