Noah Syndergaard's one-man show performance last week against the Reds did not go unnoticed.

The Mets right-hander was named National League Player of the Week on Monday for his complete-game shutout against the Reds on May 2.

Syndergaard struck out 10 and walked one while allowing just four hits in the 1-0 victory.

If that was not enough to warrant the award, he also homered to provide the only offense for himself in the game.

It was just Syndergaard's second quality start of the season and he lowered his ERA from 6.35 to 5.02.
