Who is starting for the Mets?

RHP Jacob deGrom (6-7 overall, 2.86 ERA) looks to continue his excellent season for the Mets, despite the lack of run support he's received. DeGrom has a 2.10 ERA in his last 12 starts but the Mets are only 4-8 in those games while deGrom is 3-2 in that same stretch. In his last start, deGrom fired seven shutout innings with nine strikeouts and extended his scoreless streak to 17 innings.

Who is starting for the White Sox?

RHP Lucas Giolito (11-5, 3.52) will look to turn around his second-half struggles against the Mets. In his last seven starts, Giolito has a 6.38 ERA and has allowed nine home runs in that time frame. In the eight games prior to that, Giolito had a 0.94 ERA. In his last outing on July 25, Giolito surrendered four home runs and seven total runs en route to a 10-3 White Sox loss to the Twins.
