Friday is the deadline for teams and arbitration-eligible players to come to terms on a contract for the 2020 season.

For the Mets, Marcus Stroman, Noah Syndergaard, Michael Conforto, Edwin Diaz, Steven Matz, Seth Lugo, Brandon Nimmo, Robert Gsellman, and Jake Marisnick are the players eligible for arbitration. All were tendered contracts earlier this offseason.

If a player and team are unable to come to terms, their salary will be set during an arbitration hearing later this offseason.

5:12 PM:

The Mets and starting pitcher Marcus Stroman have agreed to a $12 million deal, according to Jon Heyman. He had been projected to make $11.8 million, up from $7.4 million in 2019.

The Mets have now agreed to deals with all arbitration-eligible players.

4:55 PM:

The Mets and closer Edwin Diaz have agreed to a $5.1 million deal, according to Jon Heyman. He had been projected to make $7.0 million, up from $607,425 in 2019.

Heyman has also reported that the Mets have settled with all of their arbitration-eligible players, though Marcus Stroman's contract numbers have not yet been reported.

4:26 PM:

The Mets and Michael Conforto have agreed to a one-year, $8 million deal, reports SNY's Andy Martino. He had been projected to make $9.2 million this season. He earned $4.025 million in 2019.

4:12 PM

The Mets and Seth Lugo have agreed on a one-year, $2 million deal, reports Mike Puma of the New York Post. He had been porjected to make $1.9 million this season. He made $591,875 in 2019.

3:44 PM:

The Mets and Steven Matz have agreed on a one-year deal worth $5 million, reports Joel Sherman of the New York Post. He had been projected to make $5.3 million this season. He made $2.625 million in 2019.

3:14 PM:

The Mets and Brandon Nimmo have agreed on a one-year deal worth $2.175 million, reports Robert Murray. He had been projected to make $1.7 million. Nimmo earned just under $600,000 in 2019.

1:43 PM:

The Mets and Noah Syndergaard have agreed on a one-year, $9.7 million deal, SNY's Andy Martino confirmed. He had been projected to make $9.9 million this season. Syndergaard earned $6 million in 2019.

1:06 PM:

The Mets and Jake Marisnick agreed to a one-year, 3.3125 million deal, USA Today's Bob Nightengale reported. He was projected to get about $3 million this season after earning $2.212 million in 2019.

11:51 AM:

The Mets and Robert Gsellman have agreed to a one-year deal worth $1.225 million, reports SNY's Andy Martino. He had been projected to make $1.2 million this season. Gsellman earned $582,500 in 2019.
