Luis Gil endures shortest outing of season in Yankees’ ALDS Game 1 loss to Blue Jays

This was not the outing Luis Gil was looking for, surrendering a pair of solo home runs and not making it out of the third inning in Game 1 of the ALDS. Reliever Luke Weaver, who "doesn't feel like himself." allowed two runs and three hits in the seventh in what was still a 2-1 game at that point. Weaver explained that he may have been tipping his pitches previously and the effort to make adjustments is "not lining up." Aaron Judge, who struck out with the bases loaded in the sixth inning, says they will keep the same mindset they had all year. Judge: "This one's over with... we just have to come back and get the job done tomorrow."
