Henry Ellenson left the Knicks summer league team for personal reasons, according to multiple reports.

June 26, 7:46 PM:

The Knicks added former Eastern Michigan guard Tim Bond to their Summer League roster, the school announced.

Bond, the 2018 Mid-American Conference Defensive Player of the Year, averaged 9.2 poinnts, 4.9 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.4 steals in 35 games as a senior in the 2017-18 season for the Eagles.

He spent last season with the Rockets' G-League affiliate in Rio Grande Valley, averaging 5.7 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.2 assists in four games.

June 25, 12:40 PM:

The Knicks have added another defensive big man to their Summer League roster on Tuesday, with Oregon PF Kenny Wooten Jr. joining the team. He announced his decision on Twitter, simply tweeting out "New York Knicks."

Wooten may have averaged just 6.3 points last season, but that doesn't seem to be why the Knicks have some interest in him. His 2.6 blocks per game and 2.2 blocks per game in his freshman and sophomore seasons respectively showcase his knack for protecting the rim. He was named to the Pac 12 First-Team All-Defense in those seasons as well.

June 21, 9:03 PM:

Sources have told SNY Insider Ian Begley that Zak Irvin has committed to playing with the Knicks Summer League team.

A 6-foot-6 guard, Irvin played last season with the Westchester Knicks, averaging 11.8 points and 8.6 rebounds.

June 21, 4:11 PM:

On Friday, the NBA announced the schedule for this year's Vegas Summer League. The Knicks are scheduled to play five games in Vegas (though it could be as much as seven due to the tournament-style format), and their very first game may be the highlight of the entire slate.

RJ Barrett and the Knicks will face off against Zion Williamson and the Pelicans on July 5th at 9:30 p.m. The two Duke stars will go head-to-head for the first time since they were both selected within the first three picks of the 2019 NBA Draft.
