The NFL had reportedly warned current Redskins and former Giants safety Landon Collins to cool it after he said he would "run over" New York's General Manager Dave Gettleman on the sideline if he could this year.

Despite that, Collins still appears to have plenty of negative feelings towards the team that made him a second-round draft pick.

Speaking to reporters over the weekend, Collins continued discussing his less-than-happy feelings toward the G-men.

"For me? Or for the team? For me, it's going to be a lot of aggression," Collins said.

Along with his comments toward Gettleman, the 25-year-old defender's offseason also includes a radio interview in which he refused to say his former team's name. According to SNY's Ralph Vacchiano, Collins also said this offseason he feels more at home with the Redskins this offseason than he ever did in New York.

Despite the consistent slights toward his former team, Collins said he's confident he'll be able to keep a level head on the field when the two NFC East rivals meet.

"When I go to those types of games, I go to my college times. I was from Louisiana and I was playing LSU. So just being able to keep my composure as much as possible, keep my emotions in tack and play within my defense," Collins said.

"When you go against a time that you have some aggression against, you want to let some self-esteem out. You want to pick your times and pick your moments to do that. You got to be able to control it at the end of the day because it could hurt the team more than it could help. From that standpoint, I just got to keep the emotions under control," Collins added.

The Giants and Redskins will meet for the first time in Week 4 at MetLife Stadium.
