Nets star point guard Kyrie Irving will miss Saturday's game in China against the Los Angeles Lakers after suffering a facial contusion, the team said according to SNY's Ian Begley.

Irving, who had injured his face earlier this offseason and was wearing a face mask, left his first preseason game with the Nets on Thursday in China. Lakers guard Rajon Rondo appeared to collide with Irving, forcing him to leave the game after playing just one minute and six seconds.

Caris LeVert is listed as questionable for Saturday's game with an eye injury, after he took contact to the face as well in Thursday's game against the Lakers.

LeVert played only 22 seconds longer than Irving, and recorded one assist and missed one shot.
