Five things to know from Sunday's game

1) The Knicks got off to a hot start, scoring 45 points in the first quarter -- tying the franchise record for points in an opening quarter. RJ Barrett led the team with 10 points on a perfect 4-for-4 shooting, including one three pointer. Julius Randle and Marcus Morris each chipped in seven points, while Bobby Portis had six points off the bench in two minutes of action.

 

2) In the second quarter, it was the Clippers turn to score, as they had 47 points in the quarter to take a 76-69 lead at the half. Montrezl Harrell (22 points), Paul George (21 points), and Lou Williams (19 points) combined for 62 points in the first half.

3) Morris did his best to keep the Knicks in the game, finishing with a career-high 38 points. Barrett had 24 points in 37 minutes, including going 9-for-11 from the foul line.

4) After Paul George fouled out on an offensive foul in the fourth quarter, the Knicks cut the Clippers' lead to three points after a 10-0 run. Though, the pick and roll of Williams and Harrell proved to be too much for the Knicks. Harrell finished the game with 34 points, while Williams and George both had 32 points.

5) The Knicks struggled at the foul line, shooting 24-of-37 (64.9 percent). While the Clippers capitalized at the foul line, going 27-of-33 (81.8 percent).
