The Knicks are set to add another piece to their rotation.

The team announced on Tuesday that Reggie Bullock, who has been recovering from cervical surgery, has been cleared for full participation in practice, and will be back on the practice courts with the team on Wednesday.

Bullock signed a two-year deal with the Knicks this past July worth $8.2 million. But, as was the case with the other veterans the team signed in the offseason, the second year is not fully guaranteed, making it basically a team option.

Bullock was reportedly set to sign a two-year, $21 million deal with the Knicks before his medical issue caused a snag. The Knicks then signed him for a much lower amount, and he's missed the entire season to this point as he recovers from back surgery.

Bullock, 28, is in his seventh NBA season. He has bounced around in his pro career, spending time with the Clippers, Suns, Pistons, and Lakers. He has career averages of 6.8 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game.

At 6-21, the Knicks have had multiple issues to deal with this season, ultimately leading to the firing of David Fizdale. So it will be interesting to see how Mike Miller deploys Bullock once he's game ready.

RJ Barrett is the starting two-guard for the Knicks, and that won't be changing any time soon. Damyean Dotson comes off the bench and is averaging just under 16 minutes per game.

With Wayne Ellington and Allonzo Trier hurt at the moment, it would be ideal for Bullock to come back now with there being room to fit him into the lineup. However, the process of making sure he's 100 percent after this surgery will continue with no clear date as to when he will return.
