The Knicks were without two starters, but the combination of Jalen Brunson's scoring and Mitchell Robinson's rebounding helped New York leave Indiana with a 101-92 win over the Pacers.

New York ends their five-game road trip on a high, and has gone 3-2 on the trip.

-Karl-Anthony Towns (knee), Josh Hart (knee) and Jeremy Sochan (illness) were unavailable, pushing Robinson and Landry Shamet to the starting lineup.

The Knicks entered their final game of a five-game road trip and they looked sluggish. Couldn't finish at the rim, shots from three not going down. They scored just eight points with seven minutes to go in the first quarter. After a timeout, the Knicks would go out on a 9-0 run with Pacome Dadiet and Ariel Hukporti being the first players off the bench for Mike Brown.

Indiana continued to fight, hitting key threes to cut into New York's lead as the Knicks took a 24-21 lead after one.

Robinson had nine rebounds in the first quarter, a career high for any quarter.

-The second quarter was a story of runs. The Knicks got off to a hot start by getting to the basket, whether it was alley-oops to Robinson or OG Anunoby taking it himself.

The Pacers would climb back with transition buckets and hitting their threes. They even tied the game at 37-37 midway through the quarter. However, the Knicks built an 11-point lead going into halftime thanks to great defense and pretty passing, allowing Anunoby, Robinson and even Mikal Bridges to get to the basket.

No Pacer scored more than nine points in the first half. As a team, they shot just 40.5 percent from the field and 23.5 percent from three.

-The Knicks built up a comfortable double-digit lead midway through the third quarter, but then poor defense and silly fouls allowed the Pacers to cut the Knicks' lead to just four with 4:39 to go in the frame.

Dadiet showed his youth as the veteran Pacers guards had him on skates on defense and he fouled on a few possessions when he didn't need to, including on a three-point shot that went in.

The Pacers would actually take a one-point lead in the waning seconds, but a buzzer-beater three from Jordan Clarkson allowed the Knicks to take a 76-74 lead into the fourth.

The Knicks scored just 20 points in the frame.

-The Knicks got out to an 8-0 run to start the fourth, forcing Pacers coach Rick Carlisle to call a timeout. Indiana responded and made it a grind for New York in the final quarter. The Knicks' lead fluctuated between four and two points until the final two minutes of the fourth. Robinson's offensive rebounds were massive, allowing the Knicks to go up by nine with 1:39 to go, capped by a Bridges three.

The Knicks would hit their free throws and come away with the 101-92 win.

-Brunson had a game-high 29 points on 11 of 25 shooting to go along with five rebounds and nine assists. Anunoby added 25 points, eight rebounds and five assists. But it was Robinson, who dropped 12 points and came down with a career-high 22 rebounds (nine offensive) in 31 minutes, who helped push the Knicks to the win.

Off the bench, Dadiet scored three points in six minutes, Clarkson scored eight in 19 minutes and Mohamed Diawara posted four points and five rebounds in 20 minutes. Jose Alvarado dished two assists in 13 minutes, while Hukporti had an assist and a rebound in his 13 minutes.

Robinson's rebounding allowed the Knicks, who shot just 28 percent from three, to get multiple shot attempts.
